There are two types of lubricating methods – grease and oil – for ballscrew actuator and linear guide usage. Use a lubricant agent and method most suitable to condition requirements and purpose to optimize functions of the ballscrew and linear guide. In general, lubricants with low base oil kinematic viscosity are used for high speed operation. Lubrication with high base oil kinematic viscosity is used for oscillating operations, low speed and high temperature. |
